40th Anniversary Gi Joe Afro American Action Soldier Set 10 Mint/unopened 2003

The set consists of the following items which remain Mint, unopened and unused. One African American figure wearing a green cloth fatigue uniform, green plastic fatigue cap, pair of brown plastic high boots, one metal dog tag, army manual and insignia sheet.

This reproduction of an original 1964 GI figure is contained in a superb 40TH anniversary coffin box. Together with the figure the boxset contains a carded Combat set, which consists of the following accessories. One green cloth field pack. One green cloth pistol belt. One green plastic first aid pouch.

One plastic silver coloured canteen. One plastic knife, one plastic spoon and one plastic fork. One green plastic entrenching shovel. One cloth entrenching tool cover. One GI JOE ARMY MANUAL.

These really nicely detailed 1/6 scale accessories are contained in a beautifully produced woodgrain box with vivid colours and illustrations. All these items are in a mint, unused and unopened condition.

This set was made by Hasbros in 2003. This set certainly evokes the spirit of 1964.

Both sets are contained in a green sealed outer box which has a timeless collection seal on the front plastic cover. There are some minor scuff marks on the outer box corners, this is as a result of long term storage.

This is quite a rare set to find in this type of condition especially with an Afro American figure. This set comes from a smoke free home.
