Sideshow G. I. JOE custom Dreadnok Zanya (Zartan's Daughter)
Joe compatible custom Dreadnok Zanya! Despite some flaws and shortcomings of Sideshow's G. Joe figure line - the biggest of which was their failure to make more figures - it was way better than anything Hasbro made in 1/6 scale. Zartan and the Dreadnoks were some of my favorite and most played with figures when I was a kid.
The last picture in this listing shows how far I have managed to make it while also giving a preview of my upcoming 1/6 scale Dreadnok listings. PLEASE NOTE: this listing is only for Zanya! Background goodies and other figures ARE NOT INCLUDED. Easy & Simple headsculpt on a Worldbox AT202'Crazy Durable' body; clothing and most of the gear come from the Flagset End War Umi figure; AK is from the Flagset Ms.
A few other bits are E&S items. Zanya includes 2 frag grenades, 2 flashbangs, 2 additional ammo clips for both pistol and AK, and a folding pocket knife. Backpack includes some additional right and left gloved hands for more varied posing options. Did my best to reflect and stay true to the original 1/18 scale figure and the Devil's Due comic line that created her.PLEASE NOTE: 1 the necklace is actually a set of dog tags - tags are hidden behind the neck, under the hood. 2 suppressor is held in place with poster putty as shown in the highlighted picture - if you want to eliminate the sag visible in some of these pictures you will have to use glue to permanently affix the suppressor. An alternate flash hider is included to'dress' the gun if the suppressor doesn't suit.
3 the strap retainer on the right bicep band has come off. IF found - it will be included/reattached - but at the time of this listing - it is MIA. 4 the beer bottle includes a dab of poster putty to help it stay in hand.
5 ponytail piece has to be removed for the best fitment of the hoodie &####128521. 6 the thick bodied figure fills the pants with just enough shape to make sitting/kneeling poses impossible but figure can be properly posed'riding' a 1/6 scale motorcycle &####128077. That covers all the cons of this custom - hopefully the pictures accurately cover the pros!
I think this is an awesome figure which would add to any 1/6 scale G. Joe collection while also being a decent enough build to slot into other 1/6 scale figure sets as a stand alone.
