Of Japan's most well-known hardcore band, who are called Cocobat. Aside from playing bass in Cocobat, Take-Shit is well known for having a huge vintage toy collection, with the Takara Henshin Cyborg line being one of his particular favourites - hence his involvement in the project. The Grasshopper Man outfit was inspired by a drawing that appeared on a Cocobat album cover, rendered by the American graphic artist Pushead. Along with the original version of Cocobat Joe, there was an exclusive limited Skull-Head version (only 500 pieces) created, which was only available through Massive Action Figure magazine.

The limited edition Skull-Head version of Cocobat Joe was made available only to readers of that magazine, via the submission of coupons that were included within the publication. One of those figures is for sale in this listing.

Cocobat Joe was produced under license of Takara's Combat Joe figure, and manufactured by Medicom Corporation. The figure is smoked clear grey plastic, and the head, arms and legs can be removed like the 1970's Takara Android figure. These figures are highly sought after, and tough to find in Japan, let alone in the UK. This figure as a great addition to any vintage Takara Henshin Cyborg / King Walder / Android collection.
